The North of England Consortium for Arts and Humanities (Hull, Bradford, Huddersfield, Leeds Beckett, Sheffield Hallam and Teesside universities) invites high-quality proposals for a PhD studentship in Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies, tenable from 26 September 2016.

The studentship, which will be based at the University of Hull, with co-supervision at the most appropriate institution elsewhere in the Consortium, is for three years, subject to satisfactory progress and is available to UK/EU students.

All NECAH students undertake common cohort-based training in research impact, public engagement, entrepreneurship and digital humanities, and have access to facilities and research support at the other Consortium members.                                                                 

The Studentships are open to Home or EU applicants holding good undergraduate and Master’s degrees (or equivalent qualifications). Studentships can be held either full-time or part-time.  They include payment of fees and an annual stipend (£14,121 in 16/17) for three years of full-time study.
